My name is Chris Charnitski and I believe in the vision of science education that is put forward in A Framework for K-12 Science Education can change the way our students understand the world around them and their role in changing it for the better. I have been working with educators and the NGSS as an educator advocate for over 10 years at schools, conferences, and at training institutes around the world helping teachers and schools transition to these transformational new science standards and instructional shifts.
For K – 5 educators, unpacking three dimensional science standards is more often than not an eye-opening game-changing trust-building idea-inspiring ‘i can’t wait to teach science again’ question-filled adventure.
